The Welcome Center is here to assist all students with general information about Admissions & Records, Financial Aid, Counseling, and campus support programs and services. Knowledgeable Peer Mentors staff the center and provide access to computers, printing required documents, and mentoring new and current students at Gavilan College. The peer mentors offer one-on-one support to all prospective, current, and returning college students. This support can be answering questions or providing social and academic support to ease the transition to college. PEER MENTORS

The mission of the Gavilan College Peer Mentor Program is to assist all students in reaching their academic and personal goals. The goal of the peer mentor is to deliver effective and efficient one-to-one support to all students by providing information, referrals, and resources about Admissions and Records, Financial Aid, Counseling, and other support programs.
